An extremely friendly waitress delivered to me the Mountain of a Burger, which has a 1 lb patty. It certainly lives up to its name and is tremendously delicious. This is a lovely little diner in a quaint little town.
Great food and service, run by very nice folks. Our meals weren't all served at the same time, but I'm sure there was good reason. Otherwise, awesome experience.
After camping nearby, we were looking for a good breakfast in a local diner. The Hi-Lo fit the bill perfectly! A VERY long wait, but I can't knock them for it as local towns were have power & water outages, so all traffic was coming to Weed for breakfast! They weren't staffed for it, and did the best the could. After the wait, we were treated to the best and largest breakfast of our trip! Amazing quality and quantity, for a very reasonable price. We sat outside and really enjoyed it, although it was crazy-windy. A wind-break at the northern end of the patio could help a lot with that. So make a point of stopping here and enjoying your stay!
Um... so off the chart cute. This place is going to be a favorite if mine from now on. We are just passing through, but I now will be back. The motel is clean, modern and every single person I have encountered has been nice helpful and friendly. We have yet to eat in the diner but that's our next stop. I peeked in and it's absolutely darling and the menu looks yummy. We bought one of the novelty sweatshirts here for a friend who lost her house in the Santa Rosa fire (it's also where we're from) and the staff there was also very courteous and friendly. I'd love to live in a town like this.. it's absolutely darling..
Insanely delicious food and great service. Was greeted with a huge genuine smile and offer of coffee (which I'm pretty sure was telepathic). Highly recommend the lumberjack. Delicious!
